Itineraries are tailor made for your exclusive needs. Below are three examples of itineraries that we have prepared for our clients.
MARRAKECH TOUR – 3 DAYS

Day 1   Arrive in exotic Marrakech
Arrive in Marrakech and check into your Riad.  Take a stroll to the Djemaa-el-Fna Square to see the jugglers, story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats and vendors performing at sunset much as they have done for centuries. 

Day 2   Marrakech Sightseeing & Shopping
Tour Marrakech today with your private guide to discover all the delights this romantic city can offer.  First visit the Bahia Palace, located in the Jewish quarter known at the Mellah, the Palais Badi, the Saadien Tombs in the Kasbah, the new Marrakech Museum, and the Dar Si Said Museum of Moroccan Art, and on into the Souks. As you walk through the souks you will see everything from exquisitely embroidered shoes and belts to every type of spice, woodwork, brass and copper-work, kaftans ranging from the inexpensive to the very expensive – all enhanced by the smiles of the shop owners.  You can also visit Les Jardins Marjorelle the colourful gardens full of cacti and other exotic plants which were restored by the late Yves Saint Laurent and where he wished his ashes to be scattered adjacent to the villa where he spent much of his leisure time.
Day 3     Optional cooking class, or a day in the Atlas Mountains or Ourika Valley
 Your private vehicle and driver will remain at your disposal.  One alternative is to leave Marrakech this morning for an hour’s drive (64 kms) to the Berber village of Imlil, where you will meet your mountain guide with mules that you can ride up the mountain and around the village.   Alternatively, spend the day in the Ourika Valley, at the foot of the Atlas, with its beautiful waterfalls and where you can try a goat tajine for lunch.    Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon. 
Another option is to take a cooking class at one of the renowned cookery schools here in Marrakech.  You can spend a morning cooking, then relax and eat what you have cooked, and then be pampered by having a Hamman.

SOUTHERN DESERT TOUR – 6 DAYS

Day 1  : Arrive Marrakech

Arrive and transfer to your riad in Marrakech for the night
Day 2 : Marrakech / Zagora
After an early breakfast, you leave on the four hour drive to Ouarzazate, over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tichka Pass.  You will see many of the Berber villages tucked in the mountain side. Lunch in Ouarzazate before continuing to Zagora.
The road from Ouarzazate to Zagora (about 100 miles) takes you at first through the grand peaks and ridges of the Djebel Sarhro range to the main pass at Tizi n'Tinififft (1,660 m). At Agdz, you leave the mountains and onto Zagora, an oasis town in the Draa Valley on the edge of the Sahara, the worlds largest desert. This was the departure point for camel caravans heading for Timbuktu in Northern Mali, a journey that took 52 days. Dinner and overnight in a charming Riad.

Day 3 : Zagora / M'Hamid

The palm-grove village of M'hamid is the last administrative centre of the middle Draa. Mount your camel for the trip through the desert to your desert camp. This is an ideal setting to see the sun set over the desert before camping under the flickering stars in the clear desert sky.  Dinner is served by the big campfire.
Day 4 : Mhamid / Ouarzazate

Back to Ouarzazate via the same road, where you can stop at the medieval potteries and also visit Tamegroute on the edge of the Moroccan Sahara and was for centuries an important centre for religion and education and visit the Librairie Coranique (Koranic Library).
Arrive at Ouarzazate, dinner and overnight at a riad on the edge of the Medina

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Back to Marrakech. On the road, you will tour Aït Benhaddou, one of Morocco’s most magnificent Kasbahs, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and recently The Gladiator. Arrive in Marrakech. Dinner at leisure and overnight in our Riad in Marrakech.
Day 6   Depart

Transfer to the Airport

IMPERIAL CITIES AND DESERT TOUR – 11DAYS

Day 1:  Arrive Casablanca – transfer to Rabat

Arrive Casablanca and transfer to Rabat via the motorway, a journey of approximately 1 hour.  Rabat is the administrative capital of Morocco.  On arrival check-in to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Rabat – Fes

After an early breakfast, check-out and visit the Tour Hassan monument, the Mausoleum of the late King Hassan and his father King Mohamed V before driving by motorway to the Imperial city of Meknes, once the capital of Morocco during the reign of the revered tyrant Moulay Ismail.  Stop for a picnic lunch prepared by Hotel Tour Hassan en route.  A local guide will join you to discover Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idris.   Continue to the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis dating back to the 1st and 2nd centuries, and Moulay Idris before arriving in Fes, the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco, founded in 789 B.C by Moulay Idriss II in the late afternoon. Check into your Raid.

Day 3:  Fes

After breakfast your private guide and driver take you to explore Fez Nouvelle with its museums and Royal Palace, then a walk through the UNESCO world-heritage Medina.  You will walk by the Medersas and Karaouyine University, which has existed for the past 1000 years, and see craftsmen working in the narrow lanes much as they done for centuries, stopping at one of the Carpet Palaces to learn about all the different types of carpets made in Morocco while sipping a glass of traditional mint tea.  Return to your riad for lunch and to relax.  After lunch continue your exploration of the Medina or enjoy the Spa and Hammam. 

Day 4:  Fes – Erfoud

Depart early this morning for the drive through the mid Atlas to the Sahara visiting Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, the handicraft centre of Azrou, the Franciscan nunnery at Kasbah Myriem.  Your driver will suggest a suitable stop for lunch en-route, possibly at Midelt.   You will arrive in  Erfoud in the late afternoon

Day 5:  Bivouac – Merzouga Dunes

This morning visit the nearby town of Rissani and then return to spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool at the Kasbah, before setting off for the desert in time to see the sunset, and for your night under the stars in your own private bivouac (double tent) with dinner  by the fire.   In the morning you will be woken early to ride your camels to watch the spectacular sun rise over the dunes.

Day 6:  Marrakech – Skoura

Return to the main Kasbah where there will be time to shower and change before leaving for Skoura.   You will be passing through the Todra and Dades Gorges, where the scenery is really spectacular.   Lunch at Chez Michel, before continuing to the palm groves of Skoura. 

Day 7:  Skoura – Marrrakech

After leaving Skoura, stop at Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco where films such as Gladiator and Babel were made.   The journey from here to Marrakech takes 4 hours over the Atlas Mountains with superb landscapes on all sides.  Your driver will suggest a suitable stop for lunch en route. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and check into the luxury hotel/riad, La Maison Arabe, located in the medina but with vehicle access almost to the door.   Take an evening stroll to the Djemaa-el-Fna Square to see the jugglers, story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats and vendors performing at sunset much as they have done for centuries.

Day 8: Marrakech Sightseeing

Tour Marrakech today with your guide to discover all the delights this romantic city can offer.  First visit the Bahia Palace, located in the Jewish quarter known at the Mellah, the new Marrakech Museum, the Bahia Palace, the Palais Badi, the Agdal Gardens and the Dar Si Said Museum of Moroccan Art, the Saadien Tombs in the Kasbah, and on to the Medina and Souks. As you walk through the souks you will see everything from exquisitely embroidered shoes and belts to every type of spice, woodwork, brass and copper-work, kaftans ranging from the expensive to the very expensive – all enhanced by the smiles of the shop owners.   An afternoon at leisure, or you can take an optional shopping tour accompanied by Carol Prior, a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the insider knowledge of a local resident (additional cost).

Day 9: A day at leisure or a day in the Atlas Mountains

Today choose to spend a day at leisure in Marrakech or spend the day exploring the areas surrounding Marrakech.   Leave Marrakech this morning for an hour’s drive (64 kms)  to the Berber village of Imlil, where you will meet your mountain guide with mules that you can ride up the mountain and around the village.   Alternatively, spend the day in the Ourika Valley, at the foot of the Atlas, with its beautiful waterfalls and where you can try a goat tajine for lunch.    Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.   Dinner own arrangements.  There are so many great restaurants in Marrakech and your driver will be able to recommend and make reservations if desired.

Day 10:  Marrakech

Drive to your cookery class, a short distance from Marrakech, perched on a hilltop surrounded by across of olive groves.   Their outdoor cookery school is situated in the middle of the organic herb and vegetable garden. Each class begins with a short talk on what you would like to cook, you will be taken on a short tour of the garden to familiarise you with the vegetables and herbs used in Moroccan cooking. The cooking class concludes with lunch and a glass of wine relaxing beside the pool in this beautiful property.  Return to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 11: Marrakech

Your final day in Marrakech and we suggest visiting Les Jardins Marjorelle (perhaps by calèche)  the colourful gardens full of cacti and other exotic plants which were restored by the late Yves Saint Laurent and where he wished his ashes to be scattered adjacent to the villa where he spent much of his leisure time.  Rest of the day at leisure with your car and driver at your disposal.
